Facts
- What it is
- Dappleway is a cozy walking game for iPhone. A little companion hatches from an egg and grows with the days you already live: the walks, nights and workouts your iPhone and Apple Watch record in the Apple Health app. There's nothing to log by hand, and nothing in the game is ever taken away.
- New in 2.0
- A new look, with scenes that follow the light from morning to night; Mango the bearded dragon, a fourth companion beside the fox, the cat and the dog; Amberwood, a new place with six more stops; trips beside the path; and Train with Rusty, squats and push-ups counted by the front camera.
- Platform
- iPhone with iOS 17 or later. Steps and walking distance come from iPhone alone; sleep and workouts arrive from Apple Watch or any app that saves them to the Apple Health app.
- Price
- Free to download, with no subscription and no ads. The fox, the cat and the dog are free, each with a free coat. Optional one-time purchases: Mango ($3.99 in the US) and other coats ($1.99 each). Nothing in the game is locked without them.
- Languages
- English, German, French, Italian, Spanish, Brazilian Portuguese, Russian, Japanese, Korean, Simplified Chinese and Traditional Chinese. This site is in English.
- Privacy
- Dappleway reads from the Apple Health app and writes back only the warm-ups done in the app. Data from the Apple Health app never reaches us: there's no account and no sign-up. The privacy policy has the details.
